Aaron Weiman

Born in Washington D.C., he started playing piano at seven years old and studied both classical and jazz piano. Aaron received a Bachelor of Music from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University and won the Mason Gross Creativity award for his studies. At age 17, he released his first CD. Aaron was awarded a fellowship to attend both the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada and the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Program at the Kennedy Center.
He has traveled and performed at venues such as the Saint Louis Jazz Festival in Senegal, Blue Note Jazz Club in NYC, the East Coast Jazz Festival, and the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. He has shared the stage with notables like saxophonist Greg Osby, trumpeter Dave Douglass, and drummer Steve Williams.
